This sedation is inhaled through a mask that allows you to breath in the medication and induces a state of relaxation. Local anesthetic will also need to be administered to eliminate discomfort during the dental procedure. Many people report that it also has a slight amnesic effect, meaning their memories of the procedure become less clear.
Mild Oral Sedation
Mild Oral Sedation- specific sedative drugs that can be used safely and effectively will be prescribed by the dentist. Some of these medications have significant amnesic effects.
