Invisalign

Straight teeth are not only important for esthetics, but are also important in maintaining ideal oral health. Teeth, and sometimes entire facial structures, are permanently changed by orthodontic treatment. Teeth in correct alignment are easier to clean, which can make them more resistant to decay and less susceptible to gum disease and tooth loss. Properly aligned teeth can also help distribute bite forces evenly to help prevent chipping and fracture.

Invisalign treatment consists of a series of clear, custom fit, removable trays that apply a controlled amount of force to your teeth, allowing them to move into an ideal position. The system provides similar results as traditional braces, but since the trays are made of clear plastic, they are virtually invisible. These trays can be removed while eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing.

As with all orthodontic appliance, the cost of Invisalign varies according to the complexity of the case. Dental insurance policies generally cover Invisalign to the same extent that they cover traditional braces.
